Engineers who belong to a discipline, not just your project.

Every Aubrant engineer belongs to one of three Studios: Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Data and AI Engineering. Each Studio owns its standards, its tools, and the development of its people. Your engagement consumes that capability. It keeps improving after you ship.

130+ engineers across three permanent Studios, assessed to five technical levels.

A studio is not a delivery team.

Most technology firms assign engineers to projects. When the project ends, the team disperses and the knowledge goes with it. At Aubrant, engineers belong to a permanent Studio. Each Studio owns its discipline, its people, its standards, and its quality model. Your engagement consumes that capability.

The unit is the discipline, not the project

Engineers belong to a Studio, not a client team. The Software Engineering Studio owns how Aubrant engineers software, regardless of which engagement the work is for. That ownership persists between projects.

Talent advances progressively

Each Studio runs a five-level competency model. Engineers are assessed against it before they hold a gate. The Studio is responsible for developing its people, not just placing them on projects.

IP compounds with every engagement

Every problem a Studio solves adds a pattern to the shared library. The next engagement starts from a higher baseline. The work gets faster and more consistent with each client.

One standard, regardless of geography

Whether an engineer is in the US, UK, India, or Costa Rica, they build to the same architecture standards, testing practices, and quality model. The Studio enforces consistency, not the delivery manager.

Eight Workbench phases. Five gates where Studio engineers decide.

Studio engineers are not reviewers in a queue. They are the gatekeepers at specific, named decision points. The pipeline cannot advance past any of these five points without their approval.

Gate Phase What the Studio engineer decides
Context Model approval Phase 1 Is this an accurate model of the client's system and compliance obligations?
High-risk requirement confirmation Phase 3 Does every high-risk requirement have human confirmation attached?
Design Blueprint ratification Phase 4 Does the design meet constraints? Any BLOCKER override requires an Architect Deviation Approval.
Story approval Phase 5 Does each story have QA evidence attached before it advances?
Dual approval (cross-phase write) Cross-phase The single Ring-2 cross-phase write requires dual approval from two named engineers.

The gates are only as good as the engineers standing at them.

Every Aubrant engineer belongs to one of three Studios: Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Data and AI Engineering. Every engineer is assessed against a five-level competency model before they hold a gate. 130+ engineers globally. The model exists because the quality of the eight human decisions per engagement is the quality of the delivery.

Data and AI Engineering Studio

Every engagement makes the next one faster.

When a Studio solves a hard problem, it extracts the pattern and adds it to the shared catalog. The next engagement starts from a higher baseline. The work compounds.

Software Engineering Studio

React components, API patterns, CI/CD templates, testing frameworks, coding standards, AI development tools

Cloud Engineering Studio

Infrastructure as code, Kubernetes patterns, observability modules, security baselines, cost governance patterns

Data and AI Engineering Studio

ML pipelines, data integration modules, AI agent frameworks, automation templates, data quality tooling

Studios delivers across all three service lines.

Advisory defines what to build. Studios builds it: strategies made executable through Digital and Technology Strategy engagements, products built to scale through Product Engineering, and large modernization programs delivered through Platform Modernization. Every engagement uses the same five-level competency standard and the same gate structure.

Digital and Technology Strategy →

Turn strategy into executable roadmaps and technical blueprints.

Product Engineering →

Build products that scale, with quality gates that protect the customer experience.

Platform Modernization →

Modernize complex systems with rigorous governance and zero-trust quality.
